Mommy? Mommy? Mommy?

Because it is driving me crazy, the other day I counted just how many times Josh said, "Mommy?"

204 times.

That's 17 times per waking hour (on a good day).

That's once every 3.5 minutes.

That's 204 times I tried to sweetly say, "Yes, honey?" while waiting for no reply, or a string of gobbledygook I call "speaking Goofball," or a really hard question such as, "What is the Earth made out of?"

No wonder it seems like a lot.

And that is just one child. I have 3 pummeling me with "Mommy" all day long. You are right, it is an effort to be patient each and every time.

Hahahaha! Yep, know what its like - AND it may slightly reduce but it still continues as they get older! My oldest, until recently, thought I actually had to LOOK at him as well as answer - otherwise I obviously wasn't listening. And one of the others continually just says "Muuuuuuum" and when I say "yes?" she just shrugs and says "I don't know"!!!

204? I never would have thought it was so much!

I'm going to count my "Mummy"s tomorrow, and I'll get back to you with our figures! :)

Wow I should count someday. I often think I should change my name! But I love it too!
